The above mentioned laterals <br /> will be removed from the 24 inch square traffic/junction" box and the box removed, with the void <br /> compacted backfilled with road base and resurfaced with asphalt. i <br /> Due to well construction or possibility of soil contamination, the following wells will be drilled <br /> out.' Vapor wells SG-1, SG-2, SG-3, SG-4 and SG-5. Due to the likelihood of residual soil <br /> contamination the following groundwater monitoring wells will be drilled out; MW6A and MW6B. <br /> SURFACE RESTORATION. <br /> The surface of the wells destroyed in the San Joaquin County right of way(Country Club Blvd <br /> (MW9A and MW9B)and Mission Street(Soil Gas Wells SG-3, SG-4, SG-5 and monitor wells <br /> MW6A, MW6B,MW7A and MW7B)will be resurface with hot patch asphalt as per San Joaquin <br /> County guidelines. <br /> Onsite wells MW2,MW3,MW4 and'soil gas wells SG-1, SG-2 will be resurfaced with concrete <br /> with color black to match the asphalt surface.. <br /> REMEDIATION SYSTEM AND LATERALS <br /> I <br /> All above ground remediation equipment will be removed for disposal or reuse. The below ground <br /> PVC pipe laterals that remain will be backfilled with neat cement and left in place. <br /> ENCROACHMENT AND PERMITS <br /> Well destruction permits will be obtained from SJCPHS, EHD and this workplan approved prior to <br /> destroying any wells.. -Also encroachment agreements and/or permits will be obtained from the <br /> property owners that the wells are situated on: . i <br /> s <br /> EXCAVATED WELL MATERIALS ANDFLUIDS , <br /> III I <br /> All materials excavated during well destruction will be placed on plastic liner and covered for Iater <br /> disposal inside the fenced back lot of the property. A four point composite sample analyzed for <br /> TPHg, and BTEX will be obtained to document the soil condition prior to removal for disposal at a <br /> Class 11 landfill. <br /> All fluids generated by the well destruction procedures will be placed into 55-gallon drums- The <br /> drums will be place in the fenced back lot of the property for temporary storage to allow the solids <br /> to settle to the bottom of the drums. In two to three days the drums will be inspected and all clear I <br /> fluids will be transferred to InStrat for disposal. All solids will be placed with the excavated <br /> materials generated during well destruction. <br /> NOTIFICATIONS <br /> Upon approval of this work plan the necessary permits will be acquired and a 4$-hour notice will <br /> be given to all concern parties prior to start of well destruction procedures. <br /> I <br /> 3 Sanchez site restoration WP 1-2012 <br /> i <br /> I <br />
