Also included
in the recommendations were details for the installation of two more monitoring
wells. One well, a 'northern extent' monitoring well and one `down gradient'
monitoring well were proposed. The rationale for these wells was to collect
repeatable groundwater samples from an area (P9) where contaminants were
detected previously and to define the extent of the petroleum plume.
The proposal is adequate and necessary and EHD concurs with the
recommendations. The work plan should be submitted to EHD for evaluation.
Thank you for your cooperation and continued investigation and aggressive
attitude in continuing your work at this site. Please contact %AichaQl Infurna et
(209) 468-3454 if you have any questions.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
//A, - !
Michael J.
