--� COLD: WORKERS WILL DRINK PLENTY OF FLUIDS, WEAR APPROPRIATE CLOTHING <br /> • AND KEEP CLOTHING AS DRY AS POSSIBLE TO SHEILD FROM FOGGY WEATHER <br /> THAT MAY BE AS COLD AS 35 DEGREES AND WILL PERFORM SELF MONITORING FOR <br /> EXTREMITY NUMBNESS, FATIGUE, DIZZINESS, ALERTNESS HEALTH AND SAFETY <br /> OFFICER WILL MONITOR WORKERS FOR ALERTNESS AND FLUID INTAKE IF <br /> NECESSARY WORK WILL BE SLOWED OR PERFORMED IN SHIFTS IF COLD FATIGUE IS <br /> NOTICED <br /> HEAT: DURING SUMMER TIME, WHEN MEAN DAYTIME DAILY TEMPERATUREA ARE <br /> EXPECTED TO EXCEED 70°F WHEN WEARING STANDARD LEVEL D WORK <br /> UNIFORMS A HEAT MONITORING PROGRAM IS INITIATED AT AMBIENT <br /> TEMPERATURE EXCEEDING 850F. <br /> Monitoring Pulse for 30 seconds multiplied by 2 should not exceed 110 beats per minute <br /> Workers will take breaks as needed <br /> Workers will intake fluids as needed <br /> DRILLING: WORKERS WILL USE COMMON SENSE AND GOOD WORK HABITS TO <br /> PERFORM THEIR DESIGNATED JOBS <br /> CONTAMINANT EXPOSURE: GEOLOGISTMEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER WILL <br /> MONITOR THE DRILLING ACTIVITIES AND SOILS/FLUIDS GENERATED BY THE <br /> J DRILLING ACTIVITIES FOR ORGANIC VAPORS USING A PHOTO IONIZING DETECTOR <br /> WITH A 10.6 EV BULB. IF WORK AREA EXCEDES 25 PPMV THE DRUILLING WILL BE <br /> SLOWED TO DECREASE THE PPMV VALUE <br /> WORK ZONES AND SECURI'T'Y MEASURES <br /> THE IMMEDIATE WORK ZONES WILL BE CONED OFF AND THE HEALTH AND SAFETY <br /> OFFICER WILL INSURE THAT NO UNAUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ENTER THE WORK <br /> AREA. <br /> DECONTAMINATION MEASURES <br /> At the end of each workday all personnel (and subcontractors) will thoroughly wash their hands, face <br /> and footwear before leaving the site In the event that personnel protective equipment is necessary, <br /> all disposable items will be deposited into a steel drum container on site and all reusable items will <br /> be washed with TSP detergent and rinsed with clean water Residual liquid will be placed into a 55 <br /> gallon drum that will be labeled and stored on site Personnel will not be allowed to leave the <br /> contaminated area without completing the decontamination process All waste material will be <br /> placed in environmental drums or tanks and stored at site All containers will be properly labeled as <br /> per current City, County and State regulations. <br /> 4SANCHEZ DRILLING-HEALTH/SAFETY <br />
