Box 388
Stockton, CA 95201-0388
Re: Former Chevron Station#9-4054.2103 Country Club Blvd Stockton,CA
Attached Groundwater Monitoring Report(Blaine Tech,9/27/95)
Attached Notification Letter(Chevron, 7/27/95)
Dear Mr. Infurna
Attached you will find a report dated September 27, 1995,which was prepared by Chevron's consultant,
Blaine Tech Services,Inc. (Blaine Tech),to describe the results of groundwater monitoring that was
performed at the subject site on August 25, 1995.
In August,Blaine Tech gauged and sampled all nine site-related wells. The measured direction of
groundwater flow was toward the northeast under a hydraulic gradient of 0.005 ft/ft All groundwater
samples were analyzed for the presence of TPHGas and BTEX constituents. Detectable concentrations of
dissolved hydrocarbons were measured at all wells The measured concentrations were consistent with
those measured during previous site monitoring events. The measured concentrations detected at well
MW-9 suggest that the downgradient extent of the dissolved hydrocarbon plume has not been completely
defined. As such,Chevron will submit a workplan to your agency by October 30, 1995 to propose
additional site assessment activities for the purpose of obtaining downgradient plume definition.
Attached you will also find an example of the letter used by Chevron's consultant, Gettler-Ryan,Inc.
during their survey of domestic water wells in the vicinity of the subject site. A report describing the
findings of their survey will be submitted to your agency as soon as it becomes available.
If you have any questions or comments,I can be reached at(510)842-8695.
Sincerely,
Brett L.
