(Blaine Tech), to describe groundwater monitoring
performed at the subject site on February 23, 1995.
During their February site visit Blaine Tech gauged and sampled all seven site-related wells. The
measured direction of groundwater flow was toward the northeast with a hydraulic gradient of
0.008 ft/ft. Each groundwater sample was analyzed for the presence of TPHGas and BTEX
constituents. Detectable concentrations of dissolved hydrocarbons were measured at all seven
wells. The measured concentrations were consistent with those measured during previous site
monitoring events. The concentrations measured at MW-7 were greater than those detected during
the fourth quarter, 1994 sampling event. The dissolved hydrocarbon concentrations at MW-7
during February were consistent with all other previous measurements. The lower than usual
detections at this well during the previous quarter appear to be anomalous. No explanation for this
anomaly is offered at this time.
If you have any questions or comments,I can be reached at(510) 842-8695.
Sincerely,
d e- A0Zt-
Brett L.
