Stockton, CA
Attached groundwater monitoring reports(GTI; 10/14/93, 1/11/94)
Dear Mr. Infurna:
Attached are reports dated October 14, 1993 and January 11, 1994, which were prepared by
Chevron's consultant, Groundwater Technology, Inc. (GTI), to describe groundwater monitoring
performed at the subject site on Augut 20, 1993 and November 22, 1993.
3W90 ` ym
In August the measured direction of groundwater flow was generally toward the north-northeast.
The measured concentrations of dissolved hydrocarbons were consistent with levels measured
during previous groundwater monitoring events. No separate phase hydrocarbons were detected
in any of the monitoring wells.
The measured direction of groundwater flow during the November monitoring event was also
northeasterly. Detectable concentrations of dissolved hydrocarbons were measured in all seven site-
related monitoring wells. The measured levels were consistent with those detected during previous
site monitoring events.
Chevron is currently in the process of developing a remedial action plan. It is anticipated that the
plan will be submitted to your agency by June 30, 1994. If you have any questions or comments, I
can be reached at (510) 842-8695.
Sincerely,
Brett L. Hunter
Environmental Engineer
Site Assessment and Remediation
