(GTI), to describe groundwater monitoring
performed at the subject site on January 15, 1993 and April 21, 1993.
During the January monitoring event the groundwater gradient direction was determined to be
toward the northeast. The measured concentrations of dissolved hydrocarbons were consistent
with levels measured during previous groundwater monitoring events. No separate phase
hydrocarbons were detected in any of the monitoring wells.
The groundwater gradient direction measured during the April monitoring event was also toward
the northeast. The measured concentrations of dissolved hydrocarbons increased in all monitoring
wells. This observed increase is coincident with a three to four foot increase of groundwater
elevation since January. Separate phase hydrocarbons were detected in monitoring wells MW-1 and
MW-2.
These latest groundwater monitoring results are being evaluated, along with other historic site data,
to determine an appropriate plan of corrective action. If you have any questions or comments, I can
be reached at(510) 842-8695.
Sincerely,
,[ JJ- /
Brett L.
