Box 2009
Stockton, CA 95201
FORMER CHEVRON STATION, 2103 COUNTRY CLUB DRIVE, STOCKTON - DRAFT GROUND WATER
INVESTIGATION WORK PLAN
We have reviewed the Draft Work Plan for this site, dated 17 July 1989,
prepared by Pacific Environmental Group. The work plan includes a summary of
previous investigations, and a proposal for the installation and sampling of 8
additional monitoring wells and 4 additional soil borings.
The proposed scope of work is generally acceptable and appears adequate to
further identify the extent of soil and ground water contamination.
Therefore, we recommend approval of the Draft Work Plan with the following
modification: because the chlorinated hydrocarbon 1,2-dichloroethane was
detected in ground water on-site, the proposed ground water sampling plan
should include analysis for this chemical .
If you should have any questions, please call me at (916) 361-5731 .
THOMAS D.
