S ECOR `d
Mr. Michael Infurna
February 14, 2003
Page 2
If the CSM suggests commingling of the three groundwater plumes, Chevron would request PHS-
EHD's support of an application for commingled plume status between Chevron, Boulevard, and
Kwikee with the California State Water Resources Control Board Underground Storage Tank
Cleanup Fund (USTCF). Funding from the USTCF would allow the three parties to work
cooperatively for more efficient remediation of petroleum hydrocarbon impacts at all three sites. This
could include implementation of a different remedial strategy or use of the current strategy on a
larger scale to include all three sites.
Should you have any questions regarding this letter, please feel free to contact me at (916) 861-0400
x284 or Robert J. (Bob) Cochran of Chevron at (925) 842-9655.
Sincerely,
SECOR International Incorporated
William E.
