The plan is a proposal for mitigation of hazardous substances (soil
over-excavation and removal) that has contaminated the site due to an unauthorized
release associated with the USTs that were formerly located on the property.
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department-Local Oversight Program has
made a tentative determination that the plan is in compliance with Local, State and Federal
laws and regulations and that the resultant work will not create significant adverse
environmental impacts which exceed the benefits to be gained from cleanup of the
contamination.
The corrective action plan is available for public review at EHD, 304 E. Weber Street, Third
Floor, Stockton, California, during normal working hours (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m). If a
written request by any member of the public is not received at EHD by 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday August 2, 2006, the tentative decision shall become final on that date
and time.
All requests for public hearings must be filed in writing to "EHD-LOP" at 304 E. Weber
Ave., Third Floor, Stockton, 95202. Questions regarding the specific site concerns or
procedures should be directed to Michael Infurna, Senior Registered Environmental
Health Specialist, at (209) 468-3454 during normal working hours.
Dated: July 18, 2006
By: Donna Heran, Director
Environmental Health Department
Site posted: July 18.2006
