A copy of this letter is included in Attachment 1. As <br /> requested by the County discrete groundwater samples will be collected in locations where cone <br /> penetrometer test (CPT) borings extend to greater than 30 feet below ground surface (bgs). <br /> Groundwater samples will be analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), by EPA <br /> method 8015, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, total xylenes (BTEX), methyl tertiary butyl ether <br /> (MtBE), tertiary butyl alcohol (TBA), tertiary amyl methyl ether (TAME), ethyl tertiary butyl ether <br /> (EtBE), diisopropyl ether (DIPE), ethylene dibromide (EDB), and 1,2- dichloroethane (1,2- DCA) by <br /> EPA method 8260. <br /> Additionally, on December 17, 2003, during a phone conversation between Michael Infurna of the <br /> County and David Evans of SECOR, SECOR agreed to extend CPT borings to approximately 45 feet <br /> bgs. During this phone conversation the County agreed to extend the deadline of December 31, <br /> 2003, for repairing and resurveying onsite groundwater monitoring wells to January 30, 2004 and/or <br /> prior to the first quarter 2004 groundwater monitoring event.
