FF_.4MIT s.v;C
Dear Ms. Meays:
This letter is prepared in response to San Joaquin County Public Health Services (PHS)
correspondence dated November 12, 1997.
Report on DWR File Review
Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc. (Cambria) conducted a file review at the California
Department of Water Resources (DWR) to identify wells with in a 1/2-mile radius of the
subject site. The findings of this file review are presented in Table I and on Plate I.
Information was not available for the domestic wells Shell Oil Products Company (Shell) has
been collecting samples from with the exception of the domestic well at 2468 Country Club
Boulevard. DWR shows this well to be owned by Gus Martin (current owner: David & Pamela
Warman), installed in 1976, with a total depth of 135 feet and a seal from 0 to 50 feet below
grade. Another well, identified as the Turner Well, is believed to be one of the domestic wells
from which Shell has collected samples. It is located in Section 5, Subdivision J, with an
address of"Country Club." This places the well in the same vicinity as the domestic wells
CAMBRIA which have been identified between 2452 and 2472 Country Club.
ENVIRONMENTAL
Well Integrity Testing
TECHNOLOGY,INC
70PEmNsSr3n7, To determine the integrity of the domestic wells and the Caltrans well, Cambria plans to
perform video logging of each well. Video logging will allow determination of the well casing
P.O.BOXLs9 condition, screened interval, and total depth of the wells. Cambria will seek permission from
SONOMA, each well owner prior to performing this procedure as it will involve removal of the well
pump and interruption of water service for operational wells. PHS will be notified of any
Ca 95476 field activities related to performing the video surveys when a schedule has been determined.
PH:Im 935;0
F+ (M War 9
