(Cambria) presents this self-monitoring report for the referenced site. <br /> i <br /> GROUNDWATER EXTRACTION (GWE) SYSTEM DESCRIPTION <br /> The GWE system extracts groundwater from wells RW-lA, MW-5R, MW-8, and MW- 18 using <br /> submersible pneumatic pumps. Groundwater is treated by two 2,000-pound granular activated-carbon <br /> (GAC) vessels in parallel, followed by another two 2, 000-pound GAC vessels in parallel, followed by <br /> two 1 ,000-pound GAC vessels in series prior to discharge into the sanitary sewer. <br /> Discharge is authorized under a City of Stockton wastewater discharge permit originally issued on <br /> October 23 , 2000 and revised on June 28, 2002, The City of Stockton issued arevised self-monitoring <br /> sample program in a letter dated October 10, 2003 . The permit has been renewed, with some revised <br /> i <br /> terms and conditions, as of November 1 , 2005 . <br /> Monthly Flow Data: No discharge to the sanitary sewer occurred during December 2006. <br /> Cambria Discussion: Final inspection of the GWE system occurred on December 7, 2006 . The system was <br /> Environmental then started for the purpose of collecting startup samples. As discussed with the City of Stockton, the <br /> Technology, Inc. <br /> j treated groundwater was captured in a holding tank and not discharged to the sewer. Approximately <br /> 5900 Hollis Street 3 ,500 gallons of groundwater were processed prior to collecting samples.
