w
Shell Sites
Page 3
6131 Pacific Avenue Stockton
A Remedial Action Plan was to be submitted on November 21 , 2005. Shell is in the process of
obtaining permits from OMI (City of Stockton) for disposal of extracted groundwater and Air
Pollution Control for discharge of treated extracted vapor to the air from the interim and permanent
dual phase extraction PPE) system. Shell expects to have the DPE equipment on site in January
2006.
3725 Tracy Blvd, Tracy
An SCM is being prepared for this site. Batch extraction of ground water was performed and results
of quarterly groundwater sampling have shown no rebound of contaminants. Chevron has a
monitoring well cross gradient from the Shell site that has about 300 ug/l of MTBE so Shell may
j need to place a monitoring well between the two sites. To justify closure of the site Shell should
contour or otherwise utilize the Chevron and Shell data to show the MTBE is not from Shell.
1 880 Victor Road Lodi
A temporary groundwater extraction system has been in operation since September 29, 2005.
Information on extraction of water from MW2 (4 inch well) and MW4 (6 inch well) will be included
in the next quarterly report. Installation of additional on-site monitoring wells and a soil boring were
performed November 21 through 28, 2005.
4315 Waterloo Road Stockton
The work plan submitted on July 5, 2005, was approved by EHD on November 9, 2005. The work
is scheduled to be performed on December 12 through 16, 2005.
1160 Yosemite Avenue, Manteca
An SCM is to be prepared and Shell may be able to justify closure of the site.
If you have any questions or comments please contact the appropriate LOP staff overseeing the site
or call me at (209) 468-3449.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Department
Lirlo le
Margaret Lagorio, Supervising REHS
Site Mitigation Unit
c CVRWQCB — James L.
