The plan is a proposal for mitigation of hazardous substances (over. <br /> excavationand removal of petroleum contaminated soil and possibly groundwater) <br /> that has impacted the site due to an unauthorized release associated with the USTs that <br /> were formerly located on the property. <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department-Local Oversight Program , <br /> (SJCEHD-LOP ) has made a tentative determination that the plan is in compliance with <br /> Local , State, Federal laws and regulations , and that the resultant work will not create <br /> significant adverse environmental impacts which exceed the benefits to be gained from <br /> cleanup of the contamination . <br /> The corrective action plan is available for public review at SJCEHD , 304 E . Weber Street, <br /> Third Floor, Stockton , California , during normal working hours (8 : 00 a . m . - 5: 00 p . m ) . If a <br /> written request by any member of the public is not received at SJCEHD by 5 : 00 <br /> p. m . Wednesday, August 18, 2004, the tentative decision shall become final on that <br /> date and time. <br /> All requests for public hearings must be filed in writing to "SJCEHD-LOP" at 304 E. <br /> Weber Ave . , Third Floor, Stockton , 95202 .
