Mike Infurna [EH]
From : Neely, Joe [jneely@craworld .com]
Sent: Monday, September 19, 2011 9:37 AM
To : Mike Infurna [EH]
Subject: 2575 Country Club, Stockton - old remediation equipment
Attachments: DSC 0028.JPG
Mike:
We had someone cut the lock last week on the remediation equipment storage containerwe have out
at this site. It looks like nothing was stolen from the container. However we are now concerned that
the word may spread as to what is in the container and someone may come back and take what is in
there (an air compress, pumps, control panel , etc) . We replaced the lock on the container with a
heavier duty lock, but we think it would be best to remove the container and equipment from the site
and place it in our storage yard . We are currently making plans to remove this container and I wanted
to let you know about this to make sure you do not have any concerns with us doing this.
Just to be clear, this container is outside and separate from the remediation system enclosure in the
back corner of the site . And we are not doing any dismantlement of the remediation enclosure or
equipment inside the enclosure. I 've attached a picture of the container to this email .
It is unlikely we will use the equipment in the container at this site in the future, but if for some reason
that changes we can certainly bring it back out to the site. We just think that there is a real security risk
if we continue to leave this container and equipment at the site so we would like to move it to a safe
location .
Regards,
Joe
Joe W.
