CAMBRIA F '005 <br /> EPNVR)D' 'LN'T HEALTH <br /> PEFIVIi T,,SE,9V]CES <br /> February 11, 2005 <br /> Mr Michael Infurna <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, California 95202 <br /> Re Groundwater Monitoring Report— Fourth Quarter 2004 <br /> Former Shell Service Station <br /> 2575 Country Club Boulevard <br /> Stockton, California <br /> SAP Code 136144 <br /> Incident No 98996184 <br /> SJCEHD Site Code 1071 <br /> Dear Mr Infurna <br /> Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) prepared this report on behalf of Equilon <br /> Enterprises LLC dba Shell Oil Products US (Shell) in accordance with the quarterly reporting <br /> requirements of 23 CCR 2652d <br /> FOURTH QUARTER 2004 ACTIVITIES <br /> Blaine Tech Services, Inc (Blaine) of San Jose, California gauged and sampled the wells and <br /> prepared a summary table of field gauging and laboratory analytical data Blaine also collected <br /> monthly samples from monitoring well MW-14 and one offsite domestic well Cambria prepared <br /> a site vicinity map (Figure 1) and a groundwater contour/chemical concentration map (Figure 2) <br /> Blaine's report, presenting the laboratory reports, is included as Appendix A <br /> Cambria staff supervised the removal of the site's underground storage tanks (USTs) in early <br /> November 2004, and excavation of residual gasoline-impacted soil beneath southern dispenser <br /> area vicinity during late November 2004 <br /> REMEDIATION <br /> From March 1999 through August 2000, periodic groundwater extraction (GWE) events were <br /> performed on well RW-1A During each GWE event, approximately 5,000 gallons of water was <br /> Cambria purged by a vacuum truck and transported to the Martinez Refining Company for recycling On <br /> Environmental August 22, 2000 a pump was installed in RW-lA, which pumped into a Baker tank A vacuum <br /> Technology,Inc <br /> truck emptied the tank and recycled the water as described above During March 2001,the Baker <br /> olleTkins Street tank was removed and a vacuum truck was employed to extract groundwater directly from <br /> P 0 Box 259 <br /> Sonoma CA 95476 <br /> Tel(707)935-4850 <br /> Fax(707)935-6649 <br />
