i <br /> CAMBRfA <br /> under a City of Stockton wastewater discharge permit, originally issued on October 23, 2000 and <br /> revised on June 28, 2002 <br /> SYSTEM OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE <br /> For the current reporting period, a(grab) sample was collected from the effluent of the third carbon <br /> vessel,prior to discharge into the sanitary sewer,on October 22,2002 The sample was analyzed for <br /> total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes <br /> (BTEX), and methyl tertiary butyl ether(MTBE)by EPA Method 8260B As per the new sampling <br /> requirements,the GWE system effluent was also analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) <br /> by EPA Method 1664 and pH by EPA Method 150 1 Annual trace metal analysis (Cadmium, <br /> Chromium, Copper, Lead, Nickel and Zinc) and Total Toxic Organics analysis is scheduled for <br /> May of 2003 For the purpose of system performance monitoring, Cambria collected additional <br /> samples (not required by the permit)from the influent of the first, second, and third carbon vessels <br /> on October 7, 2002 Analytical results for the GWE system samples are summanzed in Table 1 and <br /> presented in Appendix A System performance, including volume and mass removal totals, is <br /> summarized in Table 2 <br /> For this reporting period, all monitored parameters were within the discharge permit specifications <br /> The LEL meter was calibrated by Equipco,of Concord, CA,on August 20,2002 The documentation <br /> for this calibration is included as Appendix B <br /> CLOSING <br /> Thank you for your assistance with this project The signed certification statement is included as <br /> Appendix C Please call Cynthia Vasko at(707)933-2370 if you have any questions <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc. <br /> Cynthia Vasko <br /> Senior Staff Engineer <br /> paz&lr <br /> Joe W Neely <br /> Project Manager <br /> 0783 2 <br />
