�CAMBRIA <br /> May 2, 2002 <br /> Mr Michael Infurna <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, California 95202 <br /> Re Groundwater Monitoring Report - First Quarter 2002 <br /> Shell-branded Service Station <br /> 2575 Country Club Boulevard <br /> Stockton, California <br /> SAP Code 136144 <br /> Incident No 98996184 <br /> Dear Mr Infurna <br /> Effective March 1, 2002, Equiva Services LLC and Equilon Enterprises LLC are now doing <br /> business as (dba) Shell Oil Products US (Shell) Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc <br /> (Cambna) prepared this report on behalf of Shell in accordance with quarterly reporting <br /> guidelines issued by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board and San Joaquin <br /> County Public Health Services (SJCPHS) <br /> FIRST QUARTER 2002 ACTIVITIES <br /> Blaine Tech Services, Inc (Blaine) of San Jose, California gauged and sampled the wells and <br /> prepared a summary table of field gauging data and analytical data Cambria compiled the <br /> additional oxygenate analytical data (Table 1), prepared a site vicinity map (Figure 1), and a <br /> groundwater contour/chemical concentration map (Figure 2) Blaine's report, presenting the <br /> laboratory report, is included as Appendix A <br /> REMEDIATION <br /> From March through June 1999, weekly groundwater extraction (GWE) was performed on well <br /> Oakland, CA RW-lA From July 1999 to June 2000, GWE occurred bi-monthly Beginning June 2000 the <br /> San Ramon CA GWE occurred weekly During each GWE event, approximately 5,000 gallons of water was <br /> Sonoma CA <br /> purged by a vacuum truck and transported to the Martinez Refining Company for recycling On <br /> Cambria August 22, 2000 a pump was installed in RW-lA, which pumped into a Baker tank A vacuum <br /> Environmental truck emptied the tank and recycled the water as described above During mid-March 2001, the <br /> T hnology,Inc <br /> Baker tank was removed and a vacuum truck was employed to extract groundwater directly from <br /> Perkins Street RW-1A on a bi-weekly basis Vacuum truck events were discontinued after the July 17, 2001 <br /> P 0 Box 259 <br /> Sonoma CA 95476 <br /> Tel(707)935-4850 <br /> Fax(707)935-6649 <br />
