The site is an operating service station with a site layout, <br /> which includes a service station building, an underground fuel storage tank(UST)complex located <br /> in the southwestern corner of the site,four dispenser islands,and a waste oil tank The location of the <br /> s <br /> former UST complex is in the southeastern portion of the site <br /> In March 1999, groundwater was extracted weekly from well RW-IA using a high-vacuum truck <br /> During August 2000,a submersible pump was installed to pump groundwater from the well into an <br /> aboveground storage tank Water, accumulated in the tank, was emptied periodically by a vacuum <br /> Oakland CA truck and transported to the Martinez refinery for recycling Between March 26, 1999 and <br /> San Ramon, CA July 17, 2001, a total of 622,649 gallons of groundwater was pumped from RW-1A, removing an <br /> Sonoma CA <br /> estimated 397 pounds(lbs)of total purgeable hydrocarbons as gasoline(TPHg),63 1 lbs of benzene, <br /> Cambria and 671 lbs of methyl tertiary butyl ether(MTBE) The volume and mass removal totals presented <br /> EnwTonmental in our January 15,2002 report have been updated based on calculations from historical field data On <br /> Technology,Inc <br /> May 31,2001,construction of a permanent groundwater extraction (GWE) system was completed <br /> oPerkins Street <br /> P 0 Box 259 <br /> Sonoma,CA 95476 r <br /> Tel(707)935-4850 <br /> Fax(707)935-6649 <br />
