C A M B R A <br /> November 30, 1998 <br /> Mr Mike Infurna <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> P O Box 388 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Re Quarterly Monitoring Report - Fourth Quarter 1998 <br /> Shell-branded Service Station <br /> 2575 Country Club Boulevard <br /> Stockton, California <br /> WIC 1204-7524-3505 <br /> Dear Mr infurna <br /> This Quarterly Monitoring Report describes the recently completed activities associated with <br /> ground water monitoring and sampling at the referenced site (Plates 1 and 2) This report <br /> was prepared to meet quarterly reporting guidelines issued by the Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board, Central Valley Region and San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Quarterly Monitoring & Sampling Summary <br /> Ground water monitoringand well sampling for the fourth quarter of 1998 are summarized <br /> P g <br /> below <br /> 0 Blaine Tech Services, Inc (Blaine) of San Jose, California measured ground water levels <br /> and collected ground water samples from Wells MW-2 through MW-14, RW-lA, the off- <br /> site Caltrans irrigation well, and 5 off-site domestic wells on October 6, 1998 The <br /> samples were transported to Sequoia Analytical of Redwood City, California for chemical <br /> analysis <br /> • Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) evaluated water-level measurement <br /> data and prepared a ground water contour map (Plate 2) for the shallow wells (Wells <br /> oakland CA MW-2 through MW-11 and RW-1A) The ground water flow direction is toward a <br /> Sonoma CA hydraulic low near Well MW-5 and is generally southwesterly at the southern property <br /> Portland OR boundary Approximate hydraulic gradients ranges from 0 003 to 0 008 <br /> Seattle WA <br /> Cambria a Ground water samples collected from shallow Wells MW-2 through MW-1 1 and RW-IA <br /> Environmental contained TPPH concentrations ranging from ND to 110,000 ppb, benzene <br /> Technology, Inc <br /> concentrations ranging from ND to 18,000, and MTBE concentrations ranging from ND <br /> 70 Perkins Street <br /> 0 Box 259 <br /> Sonoma CA 95476 <br /> 7el (707)935-4$50 <br /> Fax(707)935-6649 <br />
