V
PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE OF FINDINGS REGARDING
SITE MITIGATION PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a corrective action plan for
remediation of an underground leaking storage tank site located at
2705 Country Club Boulevard, in the City of Stockton (APN 121-210-
08) on the northwest corner of Country Club Boulevard, and Ryde
Avenue, has been reviewed by San Joaquin County Public Health
Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) . The plan is a
proposal for mitigation of hazardous substances which contaminated
the site due to unauthorized releases associated with underground
storage tanks (UST) which were located on the property.
San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health
Division, Local UST Oversight Program, has made a tentative
determination that the plan is in compliance with local, State and
Federal laws and regulations and that the resultant work will not
create significant adverse environmental impacts which exceed the
benefits to be gained from cleanup of the contamination.
The corrective action plan is available for public review at the
Caesar Chavez Central Library 605 N. E1 Dorado Street, and PHS-EHD,
304 E. Weber Street, Third Floor, Stockton, California, during
normal working hours, 8 :00 a.m. - 5 :00 p.m. If a written request
by any member of the public for a public hearing is not received by
PHS-ZED by December 14, 1995, the tentative decision shall become
final on that date and time.
All requests for public hearings must be filed in writing to PHS-
EHD at P.O. Box 388, Stockton, 95201. Questions regarding the
specific site concerns or procedures should be directed to Michael
Infurna at (209) 468-3454.
Dated: November 28, 1995
By: Donna Heran, Director Environmental Health
