Back fill with neat cement to the surface. also possible is sonic, mud rotary, <br /> air hammer drill procedures. The key words to remember for ANY well with detectable <br /> hydrocarbons/contamination is "remove the contents"... <br /> wells that are non-detect may be pressure grouted, allowing the casing, sand, bentonite and <br /> most of the grout in place. pressure grouted wells have a very specific upper 3-foot finish.
