EtvVirzoNMEINC.
11h, 3330 Cameron Park Drive, Ste 550
Cameron Park, California 95682
(530)676-6004-Fax:(530)676-6005
April 30, 2004
Project No. 2007-0835-01
Mr. Chuck Miller
Palisades Gas and Wash
30101 Agoura Court, Suite 200
Agoura Hills, CA 91301
Subject: Wellhead Observations from Station No. 835,
2705 Country Club Lane, Stockton, California.
Dear Mr. Miller:
At your request, Stratus personnel visited the subject site on March 5, 2004, to observe
and document the condition of the monitoring wells. At each well location, the well box
and watertight plug were inspected, and conditions inside the well box documented. Due
to traffic conditions at the time of our visit, off-site wells MW4, MW-5, MW-6, and
MW-8 could not be safely accessed.
Well MW-1: Concrete around the well box is intact. Water not observed inside the
well box. Well cap appeared tight, and lock was in place. Able to
tighten bolts when securing lid. (Photos 1 and 2)
Well MW-2: Concrete around the well box is intact. Approximately 1 inch of water
observed standing inside the well box. Well cap appeared tight, and
lock was in place. Able to tighten one bolt to secure lid, but one of the
tabs is broken, and the second bold cannot be secured. (Photo 3)
Well MW-3: Concrete around the well box is intact, but there were no bolts securing
the lid. Approximately 1 to 1'/2 inches of watery mud were found inside
the well box. Well cap was locked but did not appear to be tight.
Muddy smudges were observed on the inside of the casing, suggesting
that some mud and water may have entered the well casing. Asphalt and
concrete pavement in vicinity of the well is badly damaged. (Photos 4
and 5)
Well MW-7: Concrete around the well box appeared intact. No water observed
standing inside the well box. Well cap appeared tight, and lock was in
place. Able to tighten bolts when securing lid. (Photos 6 and 7)
