It <br /> describes the scope of work to be performed at Exxon Service <br /> Station No. 7-3708, 2705 Country Club Boulevard, Stockton, <br /> California. This addendum addresses the following concerns , <br /> expressed by your office: <br /> A Procedures for grouting borings <br /> i <br /> o Method of storaging of soil cuttings <br /> The following section should be substituted for Task B in the <br /> 1 <br /> September 4, 1991 work pian. <br /> Task S: <br /> Each soil boring location will be hand augered to a depth of <br /> five feet below grade to ensure that there are no subsurface <br /> Utilities present. The borings will be drilled to <br /> approximately 20 feet below grade, and will be terminated at <br /> bedrock or above encountered ground water. <br /> All borings will be backfilled with 9-sack cement/sand s?urry <br /> using a tremie pipe. Temporary steel plates will be used to <br /> cover each borehole as drilling proceeds throughout the day. <br /> All borings will be backfilled to the ground surface at the <br /> end of the day's drilling activities. <br /> a <br /> Soil cuttings will be stored onsite in a location out of the 3 <br /> way from pedestrian and automobile traffic. The cuttings, <br /> Will rest on plastic sheeting and will be completely covered <br /> 4 by plastic sheeting.
