F R <br /> . 7-Eleven Store Number 14117 <br /> Fuel Line Upgrade Soil Sampling Report <br /> July 31, 2003 <br /> Page 3 <br /> The soil samples were analyzed for TPHg, BTEX, MtBE, di-isopropyl ether (RIPE), tert-amyl-methyl <br /> ether (TAME), ethyl-t-butyl ether (ETBE), and tert-butyl alcohol (TBA) using EPA Method 8260B <br /> Soil samples were also analyzed for total lead using EPA Method 6010B <br /> RESULTS <br /> Soil Sample Analytical Results <br /> Soil samples collected under the two dispensers (designated as D1-5 5' and D2-5 2') contained <br /> concentrations of MtBE and TBA The laboratory flagged the TBA values in both dispenser soil <br /> samples because they "may be biased slightly high, a fraction of MtBE (typically less than 1%) <br /> converts to TBA during the analysis " Product line soil sample, 1-2-4 9', contained 0 013 mg/kg MtBE <br /> and 0 0095 mg/kg TBA Product line soil sample, L1-5 0' contained no detectable petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons In the four soil samples collected, total lead concentrations ranged from 6 83 mg/kg <br /> to 7 81 mg/kg Copies of the analytical reports and chain-of-custody documentation are included in <br /> Attachment C <br /> SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS <br /> The three soil samples collected beneath the dispenser islands and product lines contained low <br /> concentrations of MtBE and TBA One of the product line samples contained no detectable <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons In the four soil samples collected, total lead concentrations ranged from <br /> 6 83 mg/kg to 7 81 mg/kg <br /> LIMITATIONS <br /> This report has been prepared for the exclusive use of 7-Eleven, Inc , their agents, and other <br /> authorized parties as it pertains to 7-Eleven Location No 14117 located at 2725 Country Club <br /> Boulevard in Stockton, California The findings and conclusions documented in this report have <br /> been prepared for specific application to this project They have been developed in a manner <br /> consistent with the level of care and skill normally exercised by members of the environmental <br /> science profession currently practicing under similar conditions in the area No warranty, expressed <br /> or implied, is made <br /> The potential for the presence of unknown, unidentified, or unforeseen subsurface contamination <br /> always remains Further evidence to determine such potential site contamination would require <br /> additional subsurface exploration and testing <br /> i <br /> i <br /> File 7-Eleven/Store 20220/Reports/14117 Fuel Line Upgrade Report doc SECOR lntemational Incorporated <br />
