Environmental U S A <br /> Consultants,Inc 916/638 2085 <br /> FAX 916/638-8385 <br /> November 5, 1998 <br /> Mr Darin Rouse <br /> Exxon Company, U S A <br /> 2300 Clayton Road, Suite 1250 <br /> Concord, California 94520 <br /> Subject Quarterly Ground WaterMonitorrng Report, Third Quarter 1998 <br /> Former Exxon Service Station No 7-3708 <br /> 2705 Country Club Boulevard <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Delta Protect No D093-809 <br /> Dear Mr Rouse <br /> Delta Environmental Consultants, Inc (Delta), has been authorized by Exxon Company, U S A <br /> (Exxon), to conduct quarterly ground water monitoring at Exxon Service Station No 7-3708 located at <br /> 2705 Country Club Boulevard, Stockton, California The location of the site is shown in Figure 1 and <br /> site features are illustrated in Figure 2 The quarterly monitoring program is intended to monitor the <br /> distnbution of dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon constituents in ground water at the site <br /> This report presents the results of quarterly monitoring activities conducted during the third quarter <br /> 1998 These activities included ground water elevation measurements and the collection of ground <br /> water samples for chemical analyses of petroleum hydrocarbon constituents Field work conducted at <br /> the site was performed in accordance with the field methods and procedures presented in Enclosure A <br /> Ground Water Elevation Measurements, Flow Direction, and Hydraulic Gradient <br /> On October 5, 1998, ground water measurements were recorded in monitoring wells MW-1 through <br /> MW-8 Depth to groundwater in the wells ranged from 7 40 (MW-5)to 10 33 (MW-2) feet below the <br /> top of the well casings Ground water elevations have increased an average of 1 4 feet since the <br /> previous monitoring event conducted on June 30, 1998 Cumulative ground water elevation <br /> measurements are presented in Table 1 <br /> A ground water elevation contour map, constructed from the ground water elevations recorded on <br /> October 5, 1998, is included as Figure 3 Based on the ground water elevation contours, the ground <br /> water flow direction was generally to the northeast, across the site, with an average hydraulic gradient <br /> of less than 0 01 <br /> Subiective Analysis <br /> Liquid-phase petroleum hydrocarbons were not observed in any of the monitoring wells during the third <br /> quarter 1998 site visit <br /> Providing a Competitive Edge <br />
