FAX 916/638-8385 <br /> September 22, 1997 <br /> YA1CJYXJ <br /> Ms Marla D Guensler OCT .- 6 1997 <br /> Exxon Company, U S A <br /> 2300 Clayton Road, Suite 640 ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br /> Concord, Califoriva 94520 PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> Subject Quarterly Ground Water Monitoring Report, Third Quarter 1997 <br /> Former Exxon Service Station No 7-3708 <br /> 2705 Country Club Boulevard <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Delta Project No D093-809 <br /> Dear Ms Guensler <br /> Delta Environmental Consultants, Inc (Delta), has been authorized by Exxon Company, U S A <br /> (Ekon),to conduct quarterly ground water monitoring at Exxon Service Station No 7-3708 Iocated at <br />• 2705 Country Club Boulevard, Stockton, Cahforina The location of the site is shown in Figure 1 and <br /> site features are illustrated in Figure 2 The quarterly monitoring program is intended to monitor the <br /> distribution of dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon constituents m ground water at the site <br /> This report presents the results of quarterly monitoring activities conducted during the third quarter <br /> 1997 These activities included ground water elevation measurements and the collection of ground <br /> water samples for chemical analyses of petroleum hydrocarbon constituents Field work conducted at <br /> the site was performed in accordance wrth the field methods and procedures presented in Enclosure A <br /> Ground Water Table Elevation Flow Direction and Hydraulic Gradient <br /> On August 20, 1997, ground water measurements were recorded in monitoring wells MW-I through <br /> MW-8 Depth to ground water in the wells ranged from 9 06 (MW-5)to 1179 (MW-2) feet below the <br /> top of the well casings Ground water elevations have decreased an average of 1 94 feet since the <br /> previous monitoring event conducted on May 30, 1997 Cumulative ground water table measurements <br /> are presented in Table 1 <br /> A ground water elevation contour map, constructed from the ground water elevations recorded on <br /> August 20, 1997, is included as Figure 3 Based on the ground water elevation contours, the ground <br /> water flow direction was generally to the northe across the site, with an average hydraulic gradient <br /> of less than 0 01 <br /> Sub ective Analysis <br />.
