ADDITIONAL GROUND WATER MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION AND <br /> QUARTERLY GROUND WATER MONITORING REPORT FIRST QUARTER 1992 <br /> Ekon Stahon R/S 7-3708 <br /> 2705 Country Club Boulevard <br /> Stockton, Cahforma <br /> Delta Project No 40-91-838 <br /> Page 2 <br /> February 10 & 11, 1992 Three soil borings were advanced to a depth of approximately 26 5 feet <br /> ' below grade and completed as ground water monitoring wells MW-4, <br /> MW-5 and MW-6 Select soil samples were submitted for laboratory <br /> ' analysis of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX) and <br /> total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) as gasoline Ground water samples <br /> were collected from monitoring well MW-4 and MW-5 on February 10, <br /> ' 1992, and from monitoring well MW-6 on February 11, 1992 Ground <br /> water samples were submitted for laboratory analysis of BTEX and TPH <br /> as gasoline Ground water level measurements were recorded from <br /> monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-6 on February 11, 1992 <br /> March 18, 1992 Ground water samples were collected from ground water monitoring <br /> wells MW-1 through MW-6 Ground water samples were submitted for <br /> laboratory analysis of BTEX and TPH as gasoline Ground water level <br /> ' measurements were recorded prior to ground water sampling <br /> 2.0 GROUND WATER MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION <br /> 2.1 Soil Borings <br /> On February 10 and 11, 1992, three soil borings were advanced to a depth of 26 5 feet below grade and <br /> completed as 4-inch diameter ground water monitoring wells MW-4, MW-5 and MW-6 (Figure 2). The <br /> soil stratigraphy encountered during the course of drilling consisted of sandy lean clay to approximately <br /> 9 5 feet below grade in soil borings MW-5 and MW-6 and 17.0 feet below grade in soil boring MW-4, <br /> underlain by brown, fine to medium grained, poorly graded sand with silt to a depth of approximately <br /> ' 21 feet below grade A gray, poorly graded sand with silt was encountered at the bottom of each boring <br /> from approximately 21 to 26 5 feet below grade.
