S E C 0 R <br /> • Additional Site Assessment and Site Conceptual Model <br /> 7-11 Store#14117 <br /> September 30, 2005 <br /> Page 10 <br /> A formal 2,000 foot sensitive receptor investigation was conducted in May 2001 by ETIC <br /> Engineering, Inc , for the adjacent former Exxon Retail site 7-3708 at 2705 Country Club <br /> Boulevard (SHAW, Work Plan for Additional Offsite Assessment, Fate and Transport <br /> Evaluation Addendum, Sensitive Receptor Survey, and Fourth Quarter 2002 Monitoring and <br /> Sampling, January 30, 2003) The survey included the results of a 1,000 foot radius door- <br /> to-door well survey A single domestic well was identified at 2740 Bristol Avenue, <br /> approximately 900 feet northwest of the 7-Eleven site An Environmental Data Resources <br /> Survey (EDR) included in the ETIC survey reported no federal, state, or public water supply <br /> wells within one mile of the site <br /> The results of the Flour Daniel GTI well search, the formal 2,000 foot sensitive receptor <br /> Investigation by ETIC, and the EDR Survey are included in Attachment H <br /> 7 0 CONCLUSIONS <br /> The site is an operating gas station and convenience store that has been monitored since <br /> the third quarter 1999 Groundwater monitoring results indicate that groundwater flow is <br /> primarily southeast and northwest with an average gradient of 0 017 feet per foot The <br /> vertical limits of dissolved gasoline-range petroleum hydrocarbons, MtBE, and TBA in deep <br /> soil and groundwater have not been defined onsite With the exception of 4 0 Ug/L of MtBE <br /> in CPT-3 (CPT-3-70') the lateral extent of deep groundwater contamination has been <br /> defined to the northeast and east The lateral limits of shallow contamination in soil and <br /> groundwater has been defined to the north, west and southwest of the site <br /> A single domestic well is located approximately 900 feet northwest of the 7-Eleven site The <br /> site, and adjacent properties that are located over the area of sod contamination, are paved <br /> with asphalt and concrete, therefore, it Is unlikely that any sensitive receptors will be <br /> exposed via ingestion of sod or inhalation of gasoline range petroleum hydrocarbon vapors <br /> It is SECOR's opinion that the gasoline present in soil and groundwater has a low <br /> probability of affecting potential sensitive receptors <br /> Due to difficulties obtaining an access agreement to install proposed monitoring well MW-9 <br /> and the existence of subsurface utilities around the proposed location of MW-10, these <br /> wells were not installed SECOR is currently working to obtain access agreements with the <br /> private property owners to install MW-9 as originally proposed and MW-10 approximately <br /> 15 feet southeast of the originally proposed location <br /> 8 0 STATEMENT OF LIMITATIONS <br /> This SCM is limited in scope and only addresses conditions that generally present a <br /> material risk of harm to public health or the environment, and that generally would be the <br /> 117-Elevenl7-11 Stores1141171Reports114117 SCM and Additional Assessment doc Page 10 <br />
