S
' I
Onsite and Offsite Assessment Report 7
The Southland Corporation,2725 Countty Club Boulevard Stockton California November 34 1998
The majority of the dissolved hydrocarbon plume has been identified to lie in the vicinity of the former
underground storage tank area,and is not laterally extensive downgradient(northeast) of the
hydrocarbon source area. There do not appear to be chlorinated hydrocarbons present in groundwater
beneath the site,with the exception of species normally associated with gasoline. Dissolved MTBE was
not detected in the Southland tank pit areas during this investigation, and was only found in water from
borings collected near the edge of the property line shared with the LISAlExxon site.
Local utilized wells within 2,000 feet of this site do not appear to be at risk due to dissolved
hydrocarbons, as most identified are perforated at depths starting at more than 100 feet below grade,
and the plume appears to be confined primarily to the immediate tank vicinity. Furthermore,dissolved
MTBE levels were very low in all the water samples collected (less than 25 ug/L).
I
I
r
i
S
14117sar.rpt
ra
FLUOR DANIEL GTI
}
{
