RECEPTOR SURVEY <br /> A receptor survey will be performed to locate all potential ground water conduits within a 2,000- <br /> foot radius of the site. The results of the receptor survey will compliment ongoing assessment <br /> activities and assist in evaluating appropriate corrective action. <br /> 3.6. PREPARATION OF REPORT OF FINDINGS <br /> Following each quarterly ground water monitoring event, a quarterly report will be prepared <br /> presenting the findings. The quarterly reports will include a description of work performed and the <br /> results of the soil/groundwater sampling and analysis. Conclusions and recommendations will also <br /> be included in the reports, if applicable. The report will be in a format acceptable to the PHS-EHD <br /> and the CVRWQCB guidelines, and will be reviewed and signed by a California Registered <br /> Geologist. <br /> 4.0. FIELD PROCEDURES <br /> All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE representative under the supervision of a California <br /> Registered Geologist. Procedures for the well installation, well development, soil sampling, <br /> equipment decontamination, sample shipment and receptor survey procedures are described below. <br /> 4.1. DRILLING <br /> Sol] borings will be advanced utilizing a truck-mounted. hollow stem drill rig and 8-inch diameter <br /> hollow-stem augers. Cuttings generated during drilling will be placed on plastic sheeting and <br /> covered. Rinseate will be containerized in properly labeled D.O.T. 55-gallon drums, and stored on- <br /> site in an area lacking public access. Disposal alternatives will be evaluated and selected based on <br /> results of soil and water analysis. <br /> 4.2. SOIL SAMPLING <br /> Sol] samples will be collected at five-foot intervals, beginning at a depth of 5 feet bsg, utilizing a <br /> California split-spoon sampler and brass sleeves. The sampler will be driven by dropping a 140- <br /> pound weight from a height of 30 inches (a blow). The number of blows (blow counts) will be <br /> recorded on boring logs for each 6 inches of sampler advancement. Upon soil sample retrieval, the <br /> middle brass sleeve will be removed from the sampler. The ends of the brass sleeve Nvill be <br /> Advanced GcoEm ironmcntal.Inc. <br />
