CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD <br /> CENTRAL VALLEY REGION <br /> MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM NO. <br /> LIBBEY-OWENS-FORD COMPANY <br /> WAREROOM AREA <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Prior to construction, plans and specifications for ground water monitoring and/or extraction <br /> wells shall be submitted to Board staff for review and approval. After construction, new <br /> wells are to be sampled and analyzed for the constituents below and added to the monitoring <br /> ID <br /> program. <br /> GROUND WATER MONITORING <br /> Figure 1 is a location map. Figure 2 is a site map which shows the two ground water IN <br /> monitoring wells (MWs) and two ground water extraction wells (EWs). MWs or EWs with <br /> free phase petroleum product or visible sheen shall be monitored for product thickness and <br /> depth to ground water only. The ground water monitoring program for MWs 93-1 and 93-3, <br /> EWs 1 and 2, and any additional wells installed subsequently except for wells containing free <br /> phase petroleum product or visible sheen, shall include the following: <br /> Sampling L� <br /> Constituents Units 1IWne of Sample Frequency <br /> Depth to ground Feet ---- Quarterly <br /> water <br /> TPH as diesel µg/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> TPH as hydraulic fluid µg/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> TPH as kerosene µg/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> Semi-volatile Organic µg/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> (U.S. EPA Method 625) <br /> REPORTING <br /> Quarterly reports shall be submitted to the Board by the 30th day of the month following the <br /> end of each calendar quarter until such time that the Executive Officer determines that the <br /> reports are no longer necessary. Each quarterly report shall include a ground water contour <br /> map, the status of any ongoing investigation or remediation, and in tabular form, the water <br /> quality data, depth to ground water, and free product thicknesses. <br />
