Louise Avenue, Lathrop, California <br /> Dear Mr. Isorena: <br /> Based upon our discussion of October 20, 1993, the following <br /> items will be addressed during the investigative phase of the <br /> work described in CONDOR's WORK PLAN - Soil and Groundwater <br /> Investigation and Remediation dated October 15, 1993 . The <br /> activities presented in the work plan and this letter addendum <br /> will begin on October 25, 1993, as per your verbal authorization. <br /> ( 1) The small-diameter (4-inch) wells will be installed <br /> prior to dewatering activities near the sump areas . <br /> (2 ) Soil samples will be collected from the hydropunch <br /> boreholes for grain-size analysis from both the vadose and <br /> saturated zones . The results of the analyses will be used <br /> for final well construction details for the small and large- <br /> diameter wells . <br /> ( 3 ) At least on selected soil sample from each sump area <br /> will be analyzed for semi-volatiles and volatiles will also <br /> be analyzed for TEPH - diesel (Method 3550/LUFT) and TPH- <br /> gasoline (Method 5030/LUFT) . <br /> (4) The groundwater samples obtained from the large- <br /> diameter (6-inch or larger) wells will also be analyzed for <br /> TEPH-diesel (Method 3510/LUFT) , TPH-gasoline (Method <br /> 5030/LUFT) , 17 priority metals (Method 6010 ) , and general <br /> minerals (CAM-Title 22 ) . <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL GEOLOGICAL ENGINEERING GEOTECHNICAL <br />
