(Condor) has adopted the following health and safety <br /> procedures for working with organic vapors and liquid contaminants encountered during earthwork and <br /> drilling operations. <br /> The trench excavation will be performed by a qualified contractor familiar with the excavation <br /> of petroleum hydrocarbon impacted soil. Contractor personnel will be responsible for all excavation <br /> safety issues and for adhering to standard safety procedures during all earthwork activities. <br /> The drilling will be performed by Spectrum Exploration of Stockton, California. Spectrum <br /> personnel will be responsible for all drilling safety issues and for adhering to standard safety <br /> procedures during all drilling activities. V <br /> All work will be done in accordance with current OSHA regulations and all personnel working <br /> within the exclusion zone will have completed a 40-hour OSHA training course and be current with <br /> required refresher courses. A tailgate safety meeting will be held prior to commencement of work <br /> each day and a site-specific Health and Safety Plan will be discussed with and presented to all crew <br /> members for their signatures. <br /> 1.0 - SITE ACCESS <br /> Access to the project site shall be limited by the site perimeter (minimum of 30 feet). In no <br /> case shall the exclusion zone for all non-authorized personnel be less than 30 feet from the <br /> trenched area or drill rig. No smoking will be allowed in the exclusion zone. <br /> 2.0 - SITE NIANAGER <br /> The site manager shall coordinate all activities of equipment and personnel at the project site. <br /> Site manager responsibilities will include the following: <br /> a. Limiting access within the site perimeter to authorized personnel. <br /> b. Providing written log of on-site activities and events. <br /> C. On-site containment of potentially contaminated soil and water. <br /> d. Monitoring ambient air vapor concentrations on the site perimeter. <br />
