D Street, Stockton, CA <br /> Dear Mrs. Hansen: <br /> Geological Technics Inc. is pleased to provide the attached lab data of soil samples tested during <br /> tank closure work performed on October 15, 1998: Soil samples were collected under the two <br /> underground storage tanks as directed by Letitia Briggs, REHS, the County inspector. The tests <br /> results show the following: <br /> L FUEL TANK — Only very low concentration of TEPH-Diesel (3.3 ppm) was found below <br /> the fuel tank located near the west entrance of the Quonset but building. TPH-G; BTEX, <br /> and the Oxygenated fuel compounds were not detected and lead was within expected. <br /> concentrations for native soils of this region. <br /> 2. .WASTE OIL TANK — No contamination was.found under the small waste oil tank located <br /> south Quonset but and east of the fence/gate area. <br /> S <br /> Recommendations <br /> I recommend that you request San Joaquin County to review the;.f le on these two tanks and <br /> consider them for closure and no further action. <br /> If you have any questions regarding the closure of these tanks, please call me at 538-6424. <br /> Respectfully Submitted, <br /> GEOLOGICAL TECHVCS INC. <br /> Raynold I.
