In speaking with Joyce Vanotti at Tiger Lines she indicated
that it is a requirement from Waste Management in Fresno to have all their vehicles registered if they happen to come
across tires. I also confirmed the information with former inspectors and reports of the facility. If you have any further
questions, please feel free to contact me.
Thanks
Angelica
From: Emery, Kyle@CalRecycle [mai Ito:Kyle.Emery@caIrecycle.ca.gov]
Sent: Tuesday, January 12, 2016 3:25 PM
To: Angelica Sandoval Marin [EH]
Cc: Robert McClellon [EH]; Michael Kith [EH]
Subject: Inspection Report Review
Hello Angelica,
In reviewing your recent inspections I have the following comment:
TPID 1411691—Tiger Lines, LLC. In the comment section of Report 11-1255723,you indicated that there was no hauler
CTL activity in WTMS.You also indicated that the facility has 5 registered vehicles that operate out of Fresno, CA. During
a search in WTMS, my research has shown that Tiger Lines has been a registered hauler since 2008. Did you ask the
business representative if they haul any amount of tires or inquire about seeing if they were not filling out hauling CTLs?
Additionally, did the 5 vehicles for this TPID operate from the facilities address or were they based in Fresno?A company
having 5 registered vehicles and no CTL hauling activity would have prompted me to ask questions about hauling
activity, and why there were no records in WTMS.
I would also like to thank you for submitting the hauler observation reports. They are very thorough and complete. The
Hauler Unit mentioned that they are easy to understand and help streamline the process of issuing penalty letters.
Thanks,
Kyle Emery
Tire Enforcement Section
Waste Tire Compliance North Unit
Waste Evaluation and Enforcement Branch
Department of Resources Recycling,and Recovery(CalRecycle)
Phone:(916)341-6362
Fax:(916)631-9727
1
