In addition,proposed
feasibility testing for remediation is discussed. As discussed with the SJCEHD,the original deadline for
submittal of this workplan was revised from September 10,2001,to October 20,2001.
WORKPLAN FOR ADDITIONAL SITE ASSESSMENT
Qualitative Risk Evaluation
Sensitive Receptors
Past reports on sensitive receptors indicate that there are no public water supply wells located within one
mile downgradient of the site. Therefore, this site is considered to be relatively low-risk to sensitive
receptors.
Lateral and Vertical Plume Delineation
One downgradient groundwater monitoring well and a replacement for abandoned well MW-4 (well MW-
4R) are proposed to be installed as shown on Figure 2. The wells are proposed to be installed to 15 feet
below grade, screened from 5- 15 feet below grade.
The location of the downgradient well.is proposed to be between 50 and 100 feet southwest of well MW-2
(access permitting and without installing the well too close to the Mokelumne Aqueduct).
