A 31r mby r of I hr I I Group <br /> 1 <br /> [SEG[EJWF0 <br /> April 1, 2002 A R R 2 9 2002 <br /> ENVIRONMENT HEALTH <br /> Mr Bob DeNinno PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> 1 7-Eleven, Inc <br /> 3130 S Owyhee Street <br /> Boise, Idaho 83705 <br /> Subject First Quarter 2002 Monitoring and Sampling Report <br /> 7-Eleven Site No 20632 <br /> 4627 DaVinci Drive <br /> Stockton, California <br /> IT Corporation Project 779962 <br /> Dear Mr DeNinno <br /> This First Quarter 2002 Monitoring and Sampling Report presents the results of monitoring and sampling <br /> activities performed by IT Corporation at the subject site (Attachment 1, Figure 1) on January 9, 2002 <br /> A summary of activities conducted during this reporting period is provided below <br /> 1 <br /> • Depth to water(DTW)was gauged in four site-related groundwater monitoring wells (MW-1, <br /> MW-2, MW-3, and MW-5) <br /> Groundwater samples were collected from the monitoring wells and submitted to a <br /> California-certified laboratory for analysis of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes <br /> 1 (BTEX), methyl-tert-butyl-ether(MTBE), tert-butanol (TBA), diisopropyl ether (D1PE), ethyl-tert- <br /> butyl ether (ETBE), tert-amylmethyl ether(TAME), and total petroleum hydrocarbons-as- <br /> gasoline (TPH-G) <br /> Background <br /> I Initial site assessment activities were executed in accordance with a scope of work meeting San Joaquin <br /> County Public Health Services (SJCPHS) requirements (Fluor Daniel GTI, Additional Site Assessment and <br /> Corrective Action Work Plan, January 8, 1997) The assessment concluded that soil impacted with <br /> 1 gasoline appeared restricted to a limited area surrounding the underground storage tank (UST) pit and <br /> underlying the fuel dispensers The USTs were replaced as part of 1998 upgrading requirements <br /> Concurrent with limited overexcavation, several days of high-volume dewatering pursued as part of <br /> construction activities also served as a short-term remediation event Additional lateral and vertical <br /> . assessment of dissolved MTBE and hydrocarbons has been proposed to the SJCPH as required The <br /> proposed scope of work included the installation of a downgradient monitoring well, installation of a <br />
