ATC SITE SAFETY PLAN <br /> Fire and Explosion Hazards <br /> List Flammable or Combustible materials on-site. Keep sources of ignition away from these <br /> materials. <br /> Flammable(Flash Point<100°F) Combustible (Flash Point<200.°F) <br /> Gasoline <br /> Type and Location of Fire Extinguishers (Show on map for large projects) <br /> Dry chemical fire extinguishers, Class A. B. and C. are stored in all ATC vehicles. <br /> Other Hazards (Check if applicable) <br /> © Noise Activities likely to generate noise exceeding 85 dB: <br /> Wear hearing protection during these activities. <br /> ❑ Heat Stress Symptoms: <br /> ✓ Heat Cramps: Muscular pains and spasms. <br /> ✓ Heat Exhaustion: Cool, pale, moist skin; heavy <br /> sweating; dilated pupils, headache, nausea, <br /> dizziness, vomiting, near normal body temperature. <br /> ✓ Heat Stroke: Hot, red skin; very small pupils; <br /> high body temperature; reduced sweating. <br /> Mitigation: Cool place for breaks: <br /> Monitor personnel using pulse rate and/or blood pressure, body temperature take frequent <br /> breaks in shaded area. Unzip or remove PPE during breaks and results of personnel <br /> monitoring. Provide drinking water and/or electrolyte replacement drink. Record the time and <br /> duration of all breaks and results of personnel monitoring. Heat stroke victims must receive <br /> emergency medical care. <br /> PAGE 7 <br />
