In addition to yourself, in attendance were Rex Greyson,
Government Buildings, Norman Desmarais, Motor Pool, Earl Gilford, Public Works and Alex Richards, i
Kleinfelder. Pursuant to this meeting PHS/EHD has prepared a summary for your review. j
The re-excavation is estimated to produce 480 cubic yards. All stockpiled soil will be placed on and
covered with an impermeable plastic liner. Covering the stockpile should prevent leaching of the
contaminates. +
Two locations for the stockpiled soil were evaluated. The obviously contaminated soil will be stockpiled
on APN 155-040-24 which is a fenced lot located at the corner of Eugenia and Sonora Street. Soil not
obviously contaminated may be stockpiled on site in a:grass area south of the proposed excavation. The i
determination for the extent of contamination will be based upon field screening utilizing an organic vapor
meter and visual observation.
Once analytical results from the re-excavation sampling have been evaluated the disposal of contaminated
soil will be proposed. °
If you have an questions or disagree with this summary, lease contact Ma Mea RENS, of m staff at
y y q ' :ry, P , y
(209)468-0337. 3G
Jogi Khanna, , M.P.H. h
Health O r
ar
rie A.
