All tools and equipment used by <br /> staff will be inspected and prior to use. K/J staff will only use tools and equipment specific to <br /> their job and scope of work and will not operate any heavy equipment or equipment or tools <br /> provided by another contractor. K/J staff will have had sufficient training and/or experience <br /> with the equipment or tool prior to using such equipment or tools. <br /> 5.4 Locate Underground Utilities <br /> Various utilities may be located underground and aboveground at the site. All potential <br /> utilities in the work area will be located and accounted for prior to any excavation, drilling, <br /> boring, hand, or rig auger work 6 inches or greater below ground surface (bgs). K/J Call <br /> Before You Dig Procedures and the K/J Underground Utilities Location Form are attached. <br /> The Utilities Underground Location Center will be called at 8-1-1 for all subsurface work and <br /> provided with at least 48 hours notice of any impending subsurface work.
