Jim Wagner
Page 2
-method of cleanup proposed or implemented, schedules for the completion of the
investigation of the site and remediation;
-method and location of disposal of the released hazardous substance and any contaminated
soil, groundwater or surface water;
-manifest required for transport of hazardous substances;
-monitoring well data including groundwater elevation, pH, conductivity, gradient;
-analytical results of groundwater or soil sampling; and
-site map showing the "zero line' of contamination, if known, and changes in the above
measurements over the last quarter.
Sampling of the City of Stockton supply wells noted on Figure 2 as WP2 and WPI shall be included in the
PAR and the fust quarterly sampling for the months May, June, and July.
Due to the nature of the contaminant identified during the course of this investigation,the site can no longer
be classified as a petroleum contaminant. Under the auspices of the Local Oversight Program, and our
contractual agreement with the State Water Resources Control Board, our oversight is limited to sites of
petroleum contaminant. State funding for oversight on this particular facility will terminate June 28, 1991.
However,we have a local program referenced the Corrective Action Program which will continue to oversee
the site on a fee recovery basis. The enclosed packet will describe to you the operations of this program and
how we can continue to provide our oversight services.
We look forward to a timely response from you as this situation appears to be significant and definition of
the problem should be addressed quite rapidly.
If you have any questions contact Diane Hinson, Supervising REHS, of my staff at (209)468-3452.
Jogi Khanna . ., M.P.H.
Health O c
ll<rt1 i
_ie A.
