Second Quarter 2003 Monitoring Report, Diamond Walnut Growers 1050 South <br /> Diamond Street, Stockton California <br /> Dear Ms. Serra., <br /> ATC Associates Inc., on behalf of Diamond Walnut Growers, Inc., prepared this letter report to <br /> serve as a Second Quarter 2003 Monitoring Report for the subject site (Figure 1). <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> ATC's activities during the Second Quarter of 2003 included monitoring water levels and <br /> collecting groundwater samples from eight on-site monitoringwells _ <br /> the former facility well (FW) shown on Figure 2, analyzing the collected gro n�ysate�i sampan <br /> and preparation of this quarterly report. <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING AND SAMPLING <br /> On April 22, 2003, ATC personnel conducted quarterly monitoring and sampling at the above <br /> referenced site. The wells were monitored, purged, and sampled in accordance with the <br /> California Regional Water y Control <br /> and Reporting Program No Q RSt2 02 0821BforrDiamond Wd Central alnut <br /> (RWQCB) Monitoring <br /> 2002. Growers, Inc., dated July 3, <br /> Fieldwork consisted of measuring depth to groundwater, purging the on-site monitoring wells <br /> and collecting samples from each of the eight wells and the former facility well. Groundwater <br /> samples were collected after purging the monitoring wells and verifying the stabilization of pH, <br /> electrical conductivity, and temperature. After collecting groundwater samples, dissolved <br /> oxygen was measured in each well. ; <br /> Y-f Groundwater levels in the monitoring wells and_the facility well ranged from 49.96 to 54.72 feet <br /> below grade, an average increase in the water table of 0.7I feet since water depth was last <br /> measured in January 2003.
