Advanced <br /> GeoEnvironmental, Inc. = - <br /> 27 August 2001 <br /> AGE-NC Project No. 95-0197 <br /> Mr. Jeff Wong <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY PHS-EHD <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> Subject: Monitoring Well Abandonment Work Plan <br /> PAIGE'S TOWING <br /> 1807 Douglas Road, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr. Wong: <br /> At the request of Mr.Bill Watkins ofPaige's Towing,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.(AGE)has <br /> prepared this work plan for the abandonment of four groundwater monitoring wells at 1807 Douglas <br /> Road, Stockton, California(the site). <br /> Also enclosed are well destruction permits and the associated permit fees.Abandonment procedures <br /> will be scheduled upon approval of this work plan. <br /> INTRODUCTIONIBACKGROUND <br /> Four two-inch diameter ground water monitoring wells (MWI through MW4) located at the site <br /> were part of a subsurface investigation of the, former underground storage. tank (UST) area. <br /> Monitoring well MW 1 was installed to a maximum depth of 32.5 feet below surface grade(bsg); <br /> MW2 and MW3 were installed to maximum depths of 30 feet bsg and MW4 was installed to a <br /> maximum depth of 29 feet bsg. The monitoring wells were installed using 8-inch diameter hollow <br /> stem augers. The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1.
