Figure 1 (attached) shows the locations of <br /> the 11 sites. The work plan describes the historical activities at each of the sites and proposes to drill <br /> borings at each site in order to sample soil and groundwater. Temporary wells will be constructed or a <br /> hydropunch-type sampling device will be used to obtain grab groundwater samples at each boring <br /> location. Soil and groundwater will be analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons measured as gasoline, <br /> and diesel, benzene, toluene, ethylben=e, xylenes and glycol compounds. <br /> The work plan is hereby approved. In accordance with the proposed scbedule, technical reports for the <br /> 11 sites will be submitted by 16 May 1997.
