Geological Technics Inc Page 5 <br /> Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> Project No 425 2 <br /> January 25, 2002 <br /> During the December 22, 1999 event, Carol Oz of S.1C PHS/EHD decided it was no longer <br /> necessary to sample the domestic well located at 1600 "B" Durham Ferry Road, as this well <br /> ' was non-detect during the September 1999 sampling <br /> - - - 1.3 - Laboi story Analyses - - - - - <br /> Thesam roundwater les collected on December 3, 2001 were delivered to Sherwood Labs <br /> g p <br /> (Department of Health Services Certification No 1400), of Hilmar, California, for analysis <br /> The samples were analyzed using the following methods <br /> 0 EPA method 8020/8015 — BTEX, MTBE <br /> • EPA method 5030/8015(m) - TPH-Gasoline <br /> The detection limits for the above analyses are listed in Table 4 of Appendix A and the <br /> laboratory data is presented in Appendix B <br /> ' As required under AB2886, the laboratory data was submitted electronically to GeoTracker <br /> on January 24, 2002 - confirmation number 9765714406 <br /> MThe previous quarter's laboratory data (September 7, 2001) was submitted to GeoTracker <br /> on December 20, 2001 <br /> 2.0 FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION <br /> The laboratory analytical data generated during the event indicate that TPH-G & BTEX <br /> compounds have been detected in the following monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-4 <br /> ' and MW-5 <br /> The results from the latest round of sampling are comparable with the results from the <br /> ' previous monitoring events The following observations are made <br /> o The horizontal groundwater gradient is currently towards the northeast <br /> ' o Shallow vertical groundwater gradients have been both upward and downward in the <br /> month of December <br /> a Groundwater levels have exhibited a trend of decreasing elevation This situation may <br /> ' have tapered off in the last two quarters- see Figure 8 <br /> S TPH-G concentrations in MW-1 and MW-2 continue to fluctuate See Figures 4 & 5 <br /> for graph of Benzene and TPH-G versus time and Figure 6 for the distribution of TPH- <br /> ' G <br /> C Figure 7 demonstrates a general trend of increasing TPH-G concentration with <br /> ' decreasing groundwater elevation <br />
