Geolog# a[Tecfmics Inc. , <br /> 2741(RjverVad } <br /> t.� <br />' Wodesto,Cafifomia 95351 - <br /> (209)538-64241'Fa,[#538 5852 <br /> 'r <br /> REPORT <br /> Groundwater Monitoring <br /> 4" Quarter 2000 <br /> George's Service <br /> 1600 Durham Ferry Road <br /> Tracy, California <br /> Project No 425 2 <br /> February 1, 2001 <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> This report summarizes the 4" Quarter 2000 groundwater monitoring and testing that was <br /> completed on December 27, 2000 <br /> Groundwater gradients and bearings were calculated and are summarized as follows <br /> e Water table 0 0019 ft/ft at N34°E -�:7 C9 ->n — <br /> • Intermediate 0 0016 ft/ft at N69°E - D C"'->2— <br /> The <br /> `->2'The analytical results from the December 27, 2000 monitoring event show that aromatic <br /> hydrocarbon compounds (BTEX) and gasoline range petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH-G) are <br /> present in 4 of the 12 monitoring wells (MW-1, MW-2, MW-4 and MW-5) Three domestic <br /> water wells in the immediate area of the tanks were tested and none of the wells contained <br /> contaminant concentrations above the laboratory detection limits <br /> A summary of findings include <br /> 1 Hydrogeology <br /> • The shallow and the intennediate groundwater aquifers continues the current <br /> gradient trend towards the NE <br /> • Vertical groundwater gradients do exist at the site and range from 2 to 20 times the <br /> magnitude of the horizontal gradient At times the site has experienced both a <br /> negative and positive vertical gradient No clear trend has been recognized to <br />
