Geologicafl echnics Inc. <br /> 2741 q?jverWgad <br /> Modesto, Ca&forma 95351 <br /> (209)538 4424/'Fat#538 5852 <br />' REPORT <br /> Groundwater Monitoring <br />' 3 d Quarter 2000 <br /> George's Service <br /> 1600 Durham Ferry Road <br /> Tracy, California <br /> Project No 425 2 <br /> January 12, 2001 <br /> 10 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> This report summarizes the 3rd Quarter 2000 groundwater monitoring and testing that was <br />' completed on September 20, 2000 <br /> Groundwater gradients and bearings were calculated and are summarized as follows <br /> ® Water table 0 0021 ft/ft at N32°E <br /> Intermediate 0 027 ft/ft at S44°E <br /> The analytical results from the September 2000 monitoring event show that aromatic <br /> Y p g <br />' hydrocarbon compounds (BTEX) and gasoline range petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH-G) are <br /> present in 6 of the 12 monitoring wells (MW-1, MW-2, MW-4, MW-5, MW-102 and MW- <br /> 202) MTBE was detected in MW-2 and MW-5 by EPA method 602 Three domestic water <br />' wells in the immediate area of the tanks were tested and one, at 1600 "A" Durham Ferry <br /> Road, contained BTEX compounds at or Just above the detection level <br />' A summary of findings include <br /> 1 Hydrogeology <br /> • The shallow groundwater gradient continues a trend towards the NE However, the <br />' predominate flow direction over the course of the project has been to the N, with <br /> slight variation to the NW and NE <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br />
