Geofogica(Technics Inc. <br /> 2741 R,ever9�qd <br /> Modesto,Cafarxta 95351 1 <br /> (209)538-6424/jaX#538-5852 <br /> t - <br /> REPORT - - <br /> Groundwater Monitoring ~- , -- <br /> 1" Quarter 2000 <br /> George's Service <br />' 1600 Durham Ferry Road <br /> Tracy, California <br />' Project No 425 2 <br /> June 9, 2000 <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> This report summarizes the 151 Quarter 2000 groundwater monitoring and testing that took <br /> place on March 31, 2000 <br /> Groundwater gradients and bearings were calculated and are summarized as follows <br />' • Water table 0 0016 ft/ft at N590E <br /> • Intermediate 0 0018 ft/ft at N80°E <br />' The test results from the March 2000 monitoring show that aromatic hydrocarbon <br /> compounds (BTEX) and gasoline range petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH-G) are present in 3 of <br /> the 12 monitoring wells (MW-1, MW-2 and MW-5) MTBE was detected in the <br /> groundwater samples from the 3 monitoring wells by EPA method 602, however these wells <br /> regularly are non-detect for MTBE when tested by EPA method 8260 Three domestic water <br /> wells in the immediate area of the tanks were tested and found to be non-detect for all <br /> analytes <br /> A summary of findings include <br /> 1 Hydrogeology <br /> • The shallow groundwater gradient continues a trend towards the NE However, the <br /> predominate flow direction over the course of the project has been to the N, with <br /> 0 slight variation to the NW and NE <br />
